Community Activities
Coventry Corsairs are a fully inclusive rugby team based in Coventry, inclusive to men, women, gay, straight, bi, trans, lesbian, those with rugby experience as well as those with none. Anyone is welcome to come along and join them. Training can be for either full contact rugby or non-contact rugby. More players will be drafted in this year to build up the team, which takes part in a number of pride events in Coventry, Warwick, Leicester and Birmingham.
Coventry Corsairs is the only LGBTQ+ inclusive rugby team in the Warwickshire area linked to IGR (International Gay Rugby). The team has been around for about three years but this year is their first full year since the pandemic.
